The House Crosthwaite House was built in the mid-18th Century, and has been comfortably modernised. The Dining Room Breakfast is served in the well-appointed dinning room. It includes freshly squeezed orange juice and a cooked breakfast using the local produce and home made jams made from fruit out of our own orchard.
The Lounge Guests can relax in the spacious lounge anytime and enjoy browsing through the numerous books on what to do, where to walk, where to eat and plan your days activities or just look at the view, voted one of the top ten views in Lakeland by Cumbria Tourism and the Times.
The Bedrooms There are six bedrooms to choose from, each decorated in a restful colour scheme. The three rooms at the front of the house have sweeping views over the valley, and in the room at the side of the house, a cosy window seat looks into the garden.
The rooms on the opposite side if the house each have their own view over to the charming church nestled in the valley. Facilities in each room include a shower and toilet en-suite. There is a TV with freeview channels and tea-coffee making facilities, also the use of hairdryer and iron on request. |
