Massage Therapy

We are very excited to partner with Alexandra Schneider to offer a range of massage and therapy treatments in the comfort of Crosthwaite House. Alex offers Swedish massage, Reflexology, Hotstones, Reiki and more. She can be booked for treatments at any time and offers very reasonable rates (and we don't add on any commission!). We offer the following packages to bolt-on to your stay. Please give us at least 48 hours notice so we can get them ready for you.

Fizz and Gingerbread
Indulgence with a Cumbrian twist. A bottle of chilled Prosecco and our own secret-recipe Grasmere Gingerbread. £20.00

Cold Beer and Roasted Roots
Think it might be a long journey? Why not ensure you arrive to a couple of ice-cold weissenbeers and some home-toasted nibbles. £10.00

Magazines and Fudge
The perfect start to your relaxing break. Pre-order your favourite publications and indulge in the best fudge we’ve ever tasted – by Penrith Toffee Shop. We guarantee you will LOVE it. Please provide details of your preferred magazines when booking. £15.00

Little Explorer
More than enough to entertain the little ones while you concentrate on settling in. Our own tried and tested combination of colouring books, stickers, local child-friendly information and a sweet organic snack. Buy yourself some time! Please include details of age and girl/boy when booking. £5
